In case you missed it, last month Twain scholar and collector Kevin Mac Donnell shared highlights of his collection during a free, virtual event hosted by the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, Connecticut. It is now available here (easy log-in process required).

Mac Donnell has amassed about 10,000 Twain-related objects, the largest such collection in private hands. His book collection includes first editions of Twain’s writings, as well as books owned by Samuel Clemens and his family. Photographs and letters, as well as personal artifacts such as a Chippendale desk, silverware, and opera glasses are also here. An amazing tour through an amazing collection!
