The Case of the Christmas Card by Elly Griffiths

The bestselling author of a new novella featuring Charles Dickens and the Charles Dickens Museum will be in conversation with the author's great-great-great-granddaughter next week.

In The Case of the Christmas Card by Elly Griffiths, a few days before Christmas Dickens is transported to London in 2024, visits his old home in Doughty Street (now the museum), and gets involved in a murder mystery involving stolen paintings.

Griffiths will be chatting to lecturer and biographer Lucinda Dickens Hawksley at the museum to talk about the novelist, time travel, crime fiction, and writing about Christmas on November 11 at 12 noon. The event will last approximately an hour.
