Flamingo Announces the Return of Paper Town and Manhattan Antique Book Fair

Rochester, NH – It’s been a rough time for us all struggling through the Covid crises. For Antique Exhibitors and Customers it’s been especially difficult with no shows to help break the monotony. After two years of it, Flamingo Eventz is pleased to announce return of live, in-person, Antique Paper & Book Shows in April!
 
As interesting as virtual shows may be, nothing can match actually holding, touching, feeling an item of desire and discussing it with another interested human being! We will finally be able to experience our treasures as they were meant to be – in person!
 
SINCE COVID IS STILL WITH US, MASKS ARE MANDATORY AT BOTH SHOWS – NO EXCEPTIONS!
 
We begin Saturday, April 16 at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center in Boxboro, MA with the highly popular Paper Town – The Vintage Paper, Book & Advertising Collectibles Show. This is the original Boxboro Paper Show, a long time favorite of both dealers and customers, where you’ll find Exhibitors from across the Northeast offering a wide selection of all things Paper – from classic Vintage Ephemera to fine, rare, old Books, along with Vintage board games, postcards, advertising, and much more. As always, we have appraisals by well-known appraiser John Bruno and guest appraisers from 12-2pm.

We continue Saturday, April 23 with The Manhattan Antique Book, Ephemera, & Fine Press Fair. This is the original Shadow Show directly across from the ABAA Antiquarian Book Fair at the New York State Armory. Here we present exceptional exhibitors from throughout the United States, Europe, The United Kingdom, and Asia - many of whom are members of ABAA, ILAB, ESA, PADA, SNEAB, MABA, and other professional groups - with a wide range of fine, rare, Antique and old books along with vintage ephemera, advertising, photographs, maps, posters, prints, autographs, and other works on paper. The Fine Press Fair portion presents an incredible grouping of international print houses presenting the finest self-created, contemporary book arts that aspire to the highest standards of craft and design.
