Designer Bookbinders Hosts New Exhibition of Bookbinding, Book Arts and Artists’ Books

A new exhibition by Designer Bookbinders will showcase some of the finest work by its UK members next month.

UNIQUE runs at the Benjamin Spademan Gallery, 14 Masons Yard, London, July 5 through July 13. The exhibition will be free and open to the public. It follows the charity's previous successful collaborative exhibition Covered.Discovered run in collabroration with The Society of Scribes and Illuminators earlier this year. UNIQUE offers new work by both Fellows and Licentiates of our society in the summer.

Around 35 new bindings, all for sale, will be on show with work by Fellow Binders (Glenn Bartley, Richard Beadsmoore, Jenn Belfield, Joanna Bird, James Brockman, Stuart Brockman, Hannah Brown, Lester Capon, Mark Cockram, Sue Doggett, Flora Ginn, Kate Holland, Angela James, Peter Jones, Midori Kunikata-Cockram, Tom McEwan, Glenn Malkin, Nicky Oliver, Rachel Ward-Sale) and Licentiate Binders (Jane Adams, Ted Bennett, Miranda Kemp, Amy Kitcherside, Andreas Maroulis, Gillian Stewart).

Designer Bookbinders was founded more than 50 years ago and has helped to establish the reputation of British bookbinding worldwide.
