Through these hour-long sessions, participants will examine case studies relevant to thinking through the process of planning potential futures for a Collection.

As with previous iterations, each offering will be attended by private collectors, professional librarians and curators as well as booksellers and auctioneers.

All routes lead to Los Angeles’ historic Union Station for Rare Books LA.

Featuring leading specialists in antiquarian books, ephemera, and maps, this exciting event takes place in the historic Ticket Concourse at Union Station, the backdrop for numerous classic films and television shows as well as the 2021 Academy Awards. Union Station is transit friendly, offers ample affordable parking, and is close to numerous restaurants and hotels.

In conjunction with the book fair, a series of presentations by local authors and historians are included with admission.

October 17, 2024 - October 22, 2024 40th Annual Hoosier Hills Food Bank Community Book Fair

We will fill two buildings with over 100,000 books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, games, puzzles and other items at affordable prices to support the food bank's work. There will be a large selection of children's books and collectible "Better Books," which will also include a selection of vintage vinyl LPs.

If you wish to donate used books CDs, DVDs, records, games and puzzles at the Hoosier Hills Food Bank, do so between Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (2333 W. Industrial Park Dr). We won't accept donations of the categories above the entire month of October this year, that being from the 1st to 31st.
