The International Vintage Paper Fair & Conference

EPHEMERA: ephem·era noun \i-?fe-m?r-?, -?fem-r?\: paper items (as posters, broadsides, and tickets) that   were originally meant to be discarded after use, but have since become collectibles. Also includes other materials such as tin, plastic, metal, vellum, etc.

WHAT: Taking place March 20-22, 2015, this one-of-a-kind event features the finest vintage paper and ephemera exhibitors from across the United States, Canada and Europe. Treasures such as posters, catalogues, valentines, postcards, pamphlets, broadsides, tickets, invitations, autographs, sheet music, letterheads, manuscripts, trade cards, photographs, playing cards, political propaganda, and much more can be found at this Show. Collectors will delight in this rare merchandise while enjoying conferences, talks, discussions and presentations.

SPECIAL EXHIBIT: This year’s feature exhibit, “The Sporting Life,” will spotlight a variety of sports, games, pastimes, and entertaining activities through historic ephemera. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about subjects such as the early days of baseball, the role of African Americans athletes in basketball, and how the changing values of society impacted recreational activities throughout history.
