ITHACA, NY—National Book Auctions, located in Ithaca, NY, announces the launch of their next auction catalog.

This catalog features rare, antique and decorative books as well as select additions of ephemera and collectibles. Highlighted is a fine selection of Civil War and American West writings, along with our second session from an impressive collection of antique bound magazine compilations.

This catalog features our first session from an exhaustive collection of works pertaining to the American Civil War, alongside an equally impressive inventory of titles pertaining to the opening of the American West. Civil War-related histories include modern writings along with antique titles such as the 1898 first edition of Henderson's "Stonewall Jackson and the American Civil War," published in two volumes with fold-out maps.

Other pleasing collections will also be featured. A fine selection of art and photography reference works are highlighted by examples such as the 1956 first edition of Klein's "Life Is Good and Good for You," an author-signed first edition of Kertesz' "Of New York," and "Richard Avedon—Made in France," produced in a limited run of 100 copies.  Additional private collections include signed and antique titles, leather-bound early works, antique magazine compilations, as-new Derrydale Press titles, antique children's titles, mountaineering & alpine exploration, African exploration, antique gardening/horticulture/botany, the history of Pennsylvania, Quaker history and various other topics.

Found throughout this catalog are offerings of artwork, ephemera and other collectibles. Ephemera lots include a wide variety of themes such as wallpaper sample books, sheet music, scrapbooks, postcards, magazines, chromolithographs, travel-related, original antique correspondence, antique photographs, and other genres.   Collectibles include items such as an antique Remington typewriter, vintage clothing, and vintage electrical items.
