A literary and music festival honoring Hunter S. Thompson, as well as the lasting mark he has made on art, music, and literature. Through live music, poetry, art, spoken word and more, GonzoFest Louisville celebrates the life and times of Hunter S. Thompson in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. 2019 will mark the ninth year of the festival. 

Join us for spoken word, poetry, music, art and more at the place where Hunter’s own mother retired after working decades as a librarian at the Downtown Louisville branch.

LITLIT is a celebration of independent booksellers, book publishers, and book makers from Los Angeles and beyond.

Hosted by the Los Angeles Review of Books and Hauser & Wirth Publishers, LITLIT brings together the eclectic contemporary in publishing, creating a unique two-day opportunity for independent publishers to offer a range of books, while sharing their missions with Angelenos of all stripes.

Programming throughout the weekend will include interviews and panel discussions with publishers, authors, artists, and community organizers.

The July Fine Books & Manuscripts sale is a single-owner collection featuring early books with an emphasis on incunabula, devotional manuscripts (text and illuminated), illustrated works, and fine bindings, both continental and English, with a subset of classics, emblem books, and a copy of the Nuremberg Chronicle. The collection was formed during the latter half of the 20th century, culled from major East Coast dealers specializing in early books, and important international auctions.
