Of particular interest to FB&C readers might be the top-selling political memorabilia lots, which included this Lyndon B. Johnson typed, signed letter of condolence to Coretta Scott King the day after the assassination of her husband, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It sold for $60,000. The runners-up in this category were: a document signed by President William Henry Harrison, which sold for $22,500, and a manuscript survey document signed by George Washington, which sold for $29,500.
