Eric is a familiar face on television, appearing regularly on high profile antiques programmes and documentaries. He writes for various newspapers and magazines about antiques generally and ceramics and the Decorative Arts in particular.

Having spent 32 years at a leading auction house in London, Eric Knowles is now an independent valuer and lecturer based in the Chiltern Hills. Eric is also an Ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, a patron of several museums and charities and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
